Get your I.D. here is a participatory installation that explores the dynamics of categorization and classification, self-identification, and identification of/by others. A wide variety of labels are presented for people to use as they see fit. Markers and blank labels are provided so that participants can create their own label on the spot. A suggestion box is also available. The suggestions are incorporated into the label selections at future installations.
